Description
Bag Structure, one of several bag notions offered by Susa Glenn Designs, is a rigid but flexible vinyl material adds strength and structure to bags and totes. This rigid material is wonderful for adding substance and shape to your bag project! You can make any size bag bottom insert with it! This product can easily be cut to the desired size and shape with common craft scissors. You can tape pieces together and then add staples with a household stapler to make any size of bag bottom insert that you need. Then just follow the detailed instructions to determine the size insert that you need and cover the bag bottom insert with a little padding and the fabric of your choice. You can also use this material to add some heft and structure to your bag’s flap. Just cut to size with craft scissors. It is easy to cut curves. Then slip it inside the bag’s flap.
The Bag Structure is curved and this curve gives a nice shape to the bag’s flap. It also adds tension to the bag bottom insert which makes the insert snap in place and stay put. However, if you have a use for the Bag Structure and you don’t want it to be curved, just press it with a barely warm iron (silk setting) and a press cloth. The product will then be flat.
Each package contains three vinyl pieces, each 3.5”X13.5”. Cut to size with common scissors. Use a household stapler to join pieces to increase overall width or length. Make your bag’s bottom insert any size you need. Complete instructions are included.
