Description
Large GreatDrape! is one of the bag notions from Susa Glenn Designs. It is washable 1/2” diameter polyester braided rope with a central core. It has wonderful weight and great drape for bag handles and it’s a perfect match when you cover it with the fabric of your choice! Because it is round, the fabric won’t wear and fray like it tends to do along the edges of flat fabric bag handles.
Each package contains 5.5 feet of rope, detailed instructions, a free sample of Bag Structure, and a FREE BAG PATTERN! There is a picture of this free bag with the additional pictures provided here. Just click on the picture of the GreatDrape! to see it. This pattern is for an easy to make little tote with shoulder length bag handles. The bag’s body is gathered onto the bag handle. You will need some HTCW UltraFirm #9260 for the craft weight interfacing.
If you are making another of Susa Glenn Designs bags, refer to your pattern for the amount of Large GreatDrape! needed. The Trapezoid Tote and the Handkerchief Corners Tote each call for one package of Large GreatDrape and the Bohemian Bag calls for two packages.
You will need Susa's Little Turning Tool to cover this rope with fabric.
