Embroidered Skeleton Leaf on Out on the Town Bag

This Skeleton Leaf is a fantasy leaf based on a Sweet Gum leaf. It is set up to work with the Skeleton Leaf Stems and Curls. The download includes the following file formats: EXP, HUS, DST, EMD, JEF, PEC, PES, VIP, XXX. Number of stitches: 10,244. Size of design: 4.73"X5.41". Also included in the download are instructions for working with templates with special emphasis on designs that touch each other. Follow these instructions to get great results! The templates are provided for the original design and for the mirror image of the design.

This design is not a solid fill. Rather it is openwork with the leaf veins overlaid. I have tested stitching it out on both drapery weight linen and sweatshirt material with great results. The open work of the leaf design creates interesting texture when stitched on the sweatshirt material. I am sure you will be pleased.
