Leaf Stem, Side Stem Curl, Stem End Curl, Stems for 2 Leaves, plus

This group of designs gives you huge design opportunities! It is set up so that you can easily rearrange the different Embroidery Art Parts to create your own unique designs to fit your own creative needs.
This
design group is especially suited to embellishing larger projects because
you can create larger motifs that work well for pillows, keepsake album covers, jacket backs, padded drapery
valances, drapery tie backs, and more.
These designs include basting rectangles for perfect positioning every time as explained in the Tutorials. These basting rectangles have been digitized in a separate color than the design so that if you want to combine the designs in your computer you can edit them out and stitch the whole thing at once in a Mega Monster Mammoth Hoop (assuming there is one big enough to handle one of these beauties). Personally, I just like to use the technique explained in the Tutorials because it's faster and easier.
More information regarding the Master Layouts and the individual embroidery designs shown above are available here.
These combined designs are a great way to expand your machine embroidery skills!
Because
the Skeleton Leaf design is not a solid fill, it does not take forever
to stitch out. The long stems are graceful and cover a lot of area in a
relatively short time. They are set up so that you can flip every other
one to make long serpentine vines to embellish quilt borders, table
cloths, and more. In addition, this group of designs has been tested on
sweatshirt material and the results were fabulous!
You can use your software to combine and rearrange the designs of this
collection, or you can simply print out the supplied design templates
and lay out your design using them. No additional work at the computer
is required. All design lay out work can be done with printed paper
templates and all machine embroidery combining can be done at the
embroidery machine. The largest Embroidery Art Part design of this
group will fit into a 5”X7” hoop. Look through the information here to learn more about working with embroidery layout templates.
Each
design
is set up to work correctly with the others. You will need to
organize the sequence of embroidering correctly to be successful.
Always stitch out the main stem first. Then stitch the parts that touch
it. When you have a sequence of stems such as a long serpentine vine
that meanders diagonally across the back of a jacket, begin at the
bottom of the sequence and work
your way to the top. Juncture stitches
are always at the bottom of stem pieces and attach to the preceding
stem’s top.
Each download comes in the following embroidery machine file
formats: EXP, HUS, DST, EMD, JEF, PEC, PES, VIP, XXX. Each digitized
embroidery design download comes with
printable templates (original and mirrored), stitch and thread color
information. There is a convenient link in the pdf file to the recommended
instructions for working with embroidery design templates. |
