Description

This is a great little project and makes a first class gift! This padded case will work well for cosmetics and for cell phones too. It calls for a magnetic closure (3/4” diameter). There are two embroidery designs placements if you use a 5”X7” hoop. Also included is a single placement of the combined designs that measures 6.95”X9.25” for those who have large stitch-out capabilities. These instructions are written for quilter’s weight cotton. Drapery weight fabric could be used instead.

Please note that although the sunflower and the bee embroideries are the same as those used for the Sunflowers & Bees Flanged Pillows and for the Bee's Knees Bag the similarities stop there. This is a totally unique layout with different stem configurations. The other Sunflowers & Bees designs cannot be substituted satisfactorily because they won't fit on the pattern.

12”X12” fabric for the exterior

12”X12” fabric for the lining

12”X24” muslin (won’t show can be anything)

12”X24” low loft cotton quilt batting

Notions requirements:

one magnetic closure (3/4” diameter)

one piece (5”X3.5”) of Susa Glenn Designs’ Bag Structure to reinforce the bag flap
