Description

This is a small bag ((finished size, excluding handle is 9.5"X5.75"X1") that is machine embroidered all over. It makes a great little fashion accessory when you want to travel light. There is a magnetic closure and a comfortable fabric covered rope handle.

Instructions include a multitude of colored pictures and diagrams. The file is in pdf format. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the file. You can get it for free by clicking on the link at the bottom left of this page.

This bag shows a design composition made up of parts that are in the Sunflowers & Bees collection. You will need to purchase the embroidery files separately. There is a list of these files to the right. You can mark the check boxes here and then click "add to cart" and the embroidery designs will go into your shopping cart along with these instructions for The Bee's Knees Bag. These embroidery designs are also available separately.

In addition to the digitized embroidery designs, you will also need the following to make this project: 1/2 yard of fabric for exterior & handle, 1/4 yard fabric for lining, 1/2 yard of craft weight interfacing, one magnetic bag closure (3/4” size), one package of GreatDrape! rope for handles plus Susa's Little Turning Tool to cover the rope with fabric. Susa Glenn Designs’ Straight’n’Square™, Machine Embroidery Squaring Tool is helpful if you have a flat back on your machine. Most of these items are available here.

One half yard exterior fabric, one quarter yard (18"X22") lining fabric, one half yard polyester felt for interfacing

Notions requirements: one magnetic closure (3/4” diameter); one piece (5”X3.5”) of Susa Glenn Designs’ Bag Structure to reinforce the bag flap; 5.5 feet of SGD’s GreatDrape! (1/4” diameter polyester rope for the handle)
